The Eco-Innovation award was given to KSRTC for successful implementation of the unique project of Ethanol Blending of Diesel taken up by KSRTC in over 20 depots involving more than 1000 buses.

Managing Director, KSRTC Sri Gaurav Gupta,IAS, receiving the Award from Hon'ble Justice Pasayat, Supreme Court of India, dated on 28-5-2010 at the Hotel Ashok,Chanakyapuri in New Delhi, in the presence of Mr Kirit Parekh, former member, Planning Commission of India, Dr Madhav Mehra President,World Council for Corporate Governance and Mr Ram Jethmalani, renowned senior advocate in the Supreme Court of India.
