‘Scania Metrolink HD’ Intercity Luxury Line
KSRTC being forefront in introducing the luxurious bus services to the citizen is now proudly introducing “Scania Metrolink HD” intercity Luxury line from Bangalore to Chennai (14.5mtr length bus) and Bangalore to Tirupathi (13.7mtr length bus), on trial basis to provide convenient, comfortable and affordable transportation.

Inter-state Transport Agreement between Karnataka
The Governments of Karnataka and Kerala have entered into one principal Agreement and four supplemental agreements, so far. The previous Inter-state Transport Agreement with Kerala State was entered into during the year 2007-08. Due to increase in the passenger traffic between the two States and to provide better transport facilities to the travelling public a need was felt to enter into fresh supplemental Agreement. Hence, the Karnataka STUs and Kerala State Road Transport Corporation held several discussions.

Guest User Booking.
The KSRTC has introduced online booking by guest users (unregistered users) to increase the reach of advance booking to its commuters on its website, www.ksrtc.in.
Upgradation of SMS services
KSRTC is in the process of upgrading its SMS services. During this process, there may be some disturbance in the delivery of SMS to passengers. Passengers are requested to contact KSRTC call center (080-44554422) for booking related queries and respective bus stations or boarding points for operation related queries. Inconvenience is regretted.
Ticket Printout Not Mandatory
Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has set an example for other transport entities in the country, by offering paperless ticket travel, the first of its kind in India.
A printout of an e-ticket or m-ticket booked by a passenger has now been rendered redundant. The ticket details received on his/her mobile can be presented along with a proof of the passenger's identity to the conductor on the bus.
