KSRTC is in the process of upgrading its SMS services. During this process, there may be some disturbance in the delivery of SMS to passengers. Passengers are requested to contact KSRTC call center (080-44554422) for booking related queries and respective bus stations or boarding points for operation related queries. Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has set an example for other transport entities in the country, by offering paperless ticket travel, the first of its kind in India.
A printout of an e-ticket or m-ticket booked by a passenger has now been rendered redundant. The ticket details received on his/her mobile can be presented along with a proof of the passenger's identity to the conductor on the bus.
